These terms govern the use of Demorphus and the purchase of its plans. By creating an account, you accept them.

1. What the service does

Demorphus applies audio processing to tracks you upload and returns the processed file. The service also includes free tools and a checker that displays the result of an automated analysis.

No result is guaranteed. Processing alters an audio signal; it guarantees no particular score, no acceptance by any platform, and no perceptual quality. Analysis results are probabilistic estimates, not findings of fact.

Demorphus does not distribute your music and acquires no rights over it.

Delivery and retention. As soon as a track is ready, you receive an email with a download link. The audio — both your original file and the export — is kept for 7 days, then deleted from our servers. Downloading the export within that period is your responsibility; afterwards the processing report and the scores stay in your dashboard, but the files cannot be recovered.

2. Account

Using the Studio requires an account, created with an email address. You are responsible for access to your mailbox, which is access to your account. An account is personal.

You must hold the rights to the files you upload.

3. Plans and prices

Pay-as-you-go tracks are paid in advance, in one payment, with no subscription. They are used once your plan’s monthly allowance is spent, do not expire, and are lost without refund if you delete your account. A track whose processing fails before any SH Labs analysis is given back.

Prices are in euros, inclusive of tax where applicable. The Yearly plan is a subscription paid once a year that renews every year; its allowance is monthly, like the Monthly plan’s.

Unused allowance does not carry over. Allowances reset on the first day of each month.

4. Payment

Payments are handled by Stripe. Demorphus neither sees nor stores your card number. The Monthly subscription renews automatically each month, and the Yearly subscription each year, until cancelled.

5. Right of withdrawal

The service is digital content supplied immediately after payment. Under article L221-28 of the French consumer code, you expressly waive your right of withdrawal at the time of payment, by ticking the box provided. This waiver is shown to you before any charge.

Without that waiver, you would have fourteen days to withdraw.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your Monthly or Yearly subscription at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period: no pro rata is refunded, and you keep access until then.

If a payment is refunded, for any reason, paid access is revoked. Tracks already processed stay downloadable until the end of their retention period; only starting new ones is refused.

7. Availability

The service is provided as is, without a guarantee of continuous availability. Interruptions may occur for maintenance or because of a third-party provider. Demorphus may suspend an account used contrary to these terms or to the law.

8. Liability

Demorphus’s liability shall not exceed the amounts you have paid over the last twelve months. Nothing in these terms removes the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

9. Personal data

How your data is handled is described in the privacy policy.

10. Changes

These terms may change. The update date is at the top of this page, and any substantive change is announced to active accounts. The terms applying to a purchase are those in force at the time of that purchase.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first; failing that, the French courts have jurisdiction. You may also use the European online dispute resolution platform.
