Demorphus sets one cookie, strictly necessary for the site to work. There is no advertising cookie, no social network cookie and no third-party tracker.

The cookie we set

This cookie is HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax and sent over HTTPS only. It cannot be read by a script, nor by another site.

Why there is no banner

A consent banner is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary. Ours is: without it you cannot stay signed in or submit a form. Consent is therefore not required, and we do not show a banner that would have nothing to ask you.

Analytics

We measure our audience ourselves, without cookies or a third-party service: pages viewed and buttons clicked (in the Studio, only where a button leads, never its text). Nothing is stored on your device. To count one day’s visitors, we compute a daily fingerprint from your IP address and browser, using a key drawn at random each day and then erased: it cannot recognise you from one day to the next, and your IP address is never recorded. If your browser asks not to be tracked (Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control), nothing is measured. The data is deleted after 13 months.

When you create an account, and when you open a checkout before your first purchase, we attach a summary of that day’s visit to your account: the site you came from, the campaign (utm_source), the pages viewed that day, the country and the type of device. It tells us how customers find us (legitimate interest). The fingerprint itself is not kept, nothing is stored on your device, and the summary is deleted with your account.

Refusing or deleting

You can delete this cookie from your browser settings. You will then be signed out, and the free checker allowance falls back to the per-address limit.
