What does “cleaning” an AI track mean?
Demorphus reworks the audio signal and re-exports the file without copying its original tags. The aim is to reduce generation cues recognized by the detector. Removing metadata and changing sound characteristics are two different operations.
Remove artifacts: what does Demorphus process?
The Studio processes generation cues in the audio signal. Depending on the settings, it changes pitch, level or spectral balance. The Studio provides the processed file and its SH Labs report. Processing does not guarantee that every artifact disappears.
Remove watermarks: what have we verified?
Processing targets audio cues used for detection. File tags and watermarks embedded in the signal are different things. Our trials do not demonstrate removal of a specific watermark: a lower AI score does not establish that a watermark is gone.
Is “Human Made” guaranteed on every track?
No. Results depend on the file and detector. Demorphus shows the returned verdict, including when the target is not reached. A lower score does not change how the track was created or guarantee its distribution.
Can processing change the sound?
Yes. Current settings can change vocal pitch, level and high frequencies. The goal is to reduce AI fingerprints while preserving the listening experience.
Do I need a subscription for the checker?
The free checker is available separately, without a subscription, with its daily allowance. The Studio plans shown here cover track processing; they do not change the free checker’s allowance.
Can I try before paying?
Yes, with the checker: it is free, needs no account, and tells you whether your track is detected as AI. Processing in the Studio is paid; pay-as-you-go lets you try it on a single track.
