Demorphus uses SH Labs to analyze the audio files you upload. We consider it a professional reference in AI music detection: an identified engine from the SubmitHub ecosystem, with documented use in music distribution.
What is SH Labs?
SH Labs is the technology division of SubmitHub, the music promotion platform founded by Jason Grishkoff. It offers an API for detecting AI-generated music. Its website lists support for several generator families, including Suno and Udio. Official SH Labs overview ↗
Why call it a professional reference?
Traxsource names SH Labs as one of its two detection partners, alongside SoundPatrol. The platform says it combines these analyses with human review. That documented professional use informs our choice of engine. Traxsource’s classification method ↗
We chose an analysis whose provider can be identified and whose result can be saved. Here, “a reference” describes that professional standing; it is not a universal ranking of detectors.
What does it do inside Demorphus?
You upload an MP3, WAV or FLAC and consent to sending it for analysis. Demorphus submits the exact file to SH Labs without changing its level, format or musical content. The displayed score comes from the provider’s response.
The report brings together the score, returned verdict, analysis date and model version when available. A file fingerprint identifies the export that was analyzed. Demorphus provides the interface and report; SH Labs provides detection. This integration does not imply that SH Labs endorses or certifies Demorphus.
How should you use the result?
Seeing a specific Suno version in the report? Our AI music fingerprint guide explains generator attribution and why it is different from verifying an embedded watermark. To compare a processed track, follow the Suno fingerprint remover workflow.
Start with the score and verdict, then look at the analysis context. A detection result does not replace your track’s creation history. Our guide to reading AI music detection scores explains the displayed fields and a method for comparing files.
