A useful prompt expresses the decisions that matter to your track. Our generator assembles a musical brief from your choices; it does not claim to enforce every detail in Suno’s output.

Start with four decisions

Choose a musical style, a sense of tempo, a few dominant instruments and a vocal intention. Then describe the arrangement: intimate verses, an open chorus, a contrasting bridge or a quiet ending. These categories are our writing method, not mandatory official syntax.

An original example to adapt

“Acoustic pop around 100 BPM. Warm and intimate. Piano, rounded bass and restrained drums. Expressive lead vocal with clear phrasing. Intimate verse, fuller chorus and a resolved ending.”

This is an editorial suggestion. We have not run an audio benchmark guaranteeing its results. You can edit it directly in the generator.

Remove conflicting directions

A very close vocal and a very large reverb can pull the result in different directions. Decide what matters most before making the description longer. Keep the directions that support that intention.

Compare several generations

Keep a baseline and change one attribute at a time. Record the prompt, model version, settings and what you hear. Repeated trials help distinguish a trend from a random variation.
